   Great new website! We’ve been staying with George and Susan almost monthly since buying land next door last fall. Greengate Farm is a wonderful all-season place to stay. Someone told us that February was the best month on the island, and we were skeptical, even though we are “winter people”. But, it’s true! Lake ice in the sunshine just takes your breath away, as do grandchildren making snow angels on Little Lake. We’ve enjoyed both the Cabin and the Apple House…brought mother, kids, kids-in-law, grandchildren…and we love every minute.

   Thank you very much for the Greengate hospitality! It was wonderful to return to Greengate & Washington Island. As always the projects you have underway are amazing!

   Working some of the CQ WW Radio Contest was great!

   My hubby and i stayed here last summer when we came to the island to marry and it was incredible. There was plenty and plenty of space in our cottage for all of my girls to get ready in without trampling over each other. The land is beautiful and the morning of our wedding, we walked along the beach that is located on their property, and we watched the sun come up. I truly recommend Greengate for anyone who is looking for a “home away from home” feel.

   I went in October 2008 and I had a great time! The weather was perfect and the cabin was perfect! It was well kept and full of everything I needed. I’m looking at my schedule for this year!
